When a Farmer Forgot His Hay: A Winter 1892 Anecdote

In December 1892, a forgetful Blantyre farmer accidentally left his waggon behind while taking hay to Uddingston. Upon arrival, he realized he had brought only his horse. Embarrassed, he rushed back, while the yardmen reminded him to take his horse with him. The amusing anecdote highlights his absent-mindedness.
