Here’s a nice photograph of St. Joseph’s Primary Class of 1955/56. Robert Cumberland has sent it in saying, ” My wife Jane, nee Park, is in the photo but just can’t remember where she is in it.” This may be a longshot, but recognise anybody?

  Local man, Jim Donnelly was walking through the derelict grounds of St Joseph’s Primary School in June 2018, when he spotted this brick amongst the rubble. Quick Question. I’m stuck. Where was ‘Blantyre Nursery Centre’ on Glasgow Road. It was ‘formed in 1977 and renovated again in 1979 with an upper floor including tea bar and place for mums to chat’.
