These photos were taken by my brother Ivan Veverka back in early December 2015. After nearly a month of rainfall, the River Calder burst its banks near Milheugh and created a river that was dangerously high , spilling over on to the paths. Around the same time a dog was swept away, but was thankfully rescued from the river further downstream.
