In February 1893, Mr. Paul of Motherwell showcased a large model of the Forth Railway Bridge in Blantyre’s Burleigh Hall. As the iconic bridge had opened just a decade prior, many locals had yet to see it in person, making the exhibit a unique opportunity for public engagement.
