William Muir, Draper & Milliner, 1892

William Muir, was a draper and milliner shop at Miller’s Land, Glasgow Road Blantyre during the 1890’s., their descriptive adverts were popular and appeared often in the Hamilton Herald Newspapers. This is another long forgotten business from 134 years ago, which deserves another outing.

Ladies’ Underclothing, Dresses, Tweeds, and Prints; Thibet and Cotton Aprons; Thibet Skirts, & Pinafores in all the newest styles, some pretty patterns, from 3½d. Baby Lines of every description.
