On 31st October, 1892, Blantyre men got together in the Volunteer Arms public house to celebrate and mark Halloween.
By all accounts, the busy pub had some decoration, which would have been traditional, Scottish adornments of the era. Wouldn’t it have been great to go back and see what that evening looked like? It may have looked something like this!
