This picture by Jean Claude Nattes was sketched in 1799 and has a reference to the Calder.
At the bottom right it says “Mill on the Calder, Below Millheugh“. The below reference being downstream from Milheugh. Given that another sketch shows Bardykes Black Mill at Priory Bridge, this different mill pictured appears on maps of the era at the bottom of Pattenholm on the Blantyre side of the Calder, on its eastern riverbank, directly across the water from Dysholm.
Today, the land on the river bend which this mill once sat on, is completely flat having been landscaped in modern times.
