The 599 Club, St Andrews Church, Clydeview Shopping Centre, the Sports Centre and Devlin Grove, all built within a couple of years of each other.
Anybody leaving Blantyre in 1980 and coming back in 1984, when these photos were take, must have truly wondered if they were in the right town!
