Bulrushes (also known as tules or buggy whips) grow over 2m tall at the bottom of the Pech Brae, in September 2014. This large wetlands grass plant was common in days gone by for using their reeds to make baskets. Most famously , in biblical times when the infant moses was placed in a basket made from this plant.
