A pre WW2 photo next. Shared here by Neil Scott who told me, “Bill Gardner with his mother at Auchinraith Terrace, around 1940. Bill now lives in Vancouver , Canada with his wife Isobel.” The house and steps look very new, as they were fairly new!
Thanks to Neil Scott for sharing this photo of Bill Gardner and his mother Maisie. Taken in 1936, the family lived at Auchinraith Terrace, although this picture was captured whilst they were on holiday. Happy times judging by the smiles in a Scotland before war grasped Britain.
