Pictured from Bothwell Bridge, this scene was captured in 1963 and is in original Kodachrome colour film, featuring the moment well. I believe this is June, taken at the annual commemoration of the Battle of Bothwell Bridge. The location is busy and it’s hard to believe the EK expressway now rips over this scene.

Whatever has happened to our beautiful, litter free, flower laden, well kept parks?! I sincerely mean that. We’ve lost our way somewhere. Not for the better.
