Some of this scene will be familiar, other parts not. This is Blantyre Works area around the late 1890’s, just before the turn of the Century. To the left is the familiar Shuttle Row, the early home of explorer David Livingstone. On the right, not far from the river are the mill houses, only one of which still remains today.
