Yes, you read that right. One of the Blantyre Project readers is an avid gamer and also has a great memory. Combining both, he has produced this Minecraft version of Carrigan’s former ‘Finbarrs’ pub on Broompark Road.
Minecraft is known for creating worlds in square, blocky formats, so the look is intentional, but its amazing how accurate this is and the feeling of nostalgia is recreates for those regulars to the Finbarrs at the time.
