These photos in my own family collection were taken in 1983 or so and feature 2nd Blantyre Boys Brigade.
I’m marching in a drill class, probably about 12 or 13 years old or so in these photos which were taken by my parents. This is within the Congregational Church Hall on Craig Street and by the attendance on stage was probably one of the annual ‘displays’. Some well kent faces in here, with surnames of other lads slightly younger than me whom you may recognise such as Gebbie, Young, Bell, Miller and McQuade.
