A couple of photos from 37 years ago. Going back to 1983, this scene is strangely familiar, yet different. Blantyre ASDA carpark. The store, complete with its old orange logo had only been opened for a couple of years but had already made its mark on Blantyre.
The wooden picket fencing was never going to last. Looks like it was struggling even then to stand up. And trees? In the Car Park? A nice idea, but where are they now?
