Another great photo from the David Ritchie Collection of Blantyre photos. Again, this photo was taken between 110 and 120 years ago. A wee girl stands with her pet dog, posing and being still for the photograph.

This girl looks a bit “well to do”. Dressed in some Sunday best finery perhaps on Sunday walk after church of heading to a family celebration? The location and unfortunately her identity is unknown. If you know more, please do get in touch.
