This photo firmly belongs in the archive reflecting the development of Glasgow Road. Pictured from the south pavement on Glasgow Road, it looks towards Springwells, with Herberston Street cutting left to right. The new Auchinraith Trading Estate is built with Botterils occupying those premises, but there is no red roof of JR Reid Printers to the left yet. I think this is 1981 or 82.
