Lockdown Quiz 45: Where is this?

Today’s lockdown quiz photo. I know, it could be anywhere, but it is somewhere in Blantyre and something specific! What and where is this? Answers revealed tonight.

** Update – Well done if you guessed this was a vent pipe down to Dixon’s mines. Used to vent the remaining gas from the High Blantyre collieries, this pipe is in the trees on the opposite side of the road across from Priestfield Cemetery. Just off the pavement. Some of these vents are a quarter mile deep!!!
