Here’s a great photo you may not have seen before. The year is 1951, almost 70 years ago. The back of Shuttle Row at the Village got an overhaul with the slope regraded and site cleared, with a new retaining wall built. Workmen were actually doing this at the time of the photo. It’s an unusual view of the back of the building too, now very much overgrown and this year, going through its own renovation.
