Staying with 1980 and just off Glasgow Road, This is the site cleared for Devlin Grove. Glasgow Road is out the picture to the left, The crane in the background building the Sports Centre in the park.
Who remembers the blue bank huts and cabins? A temporary measure until the RBOS could locate themselves in the new Clydeview Shopping Centre. The tenements to the left were awaiting demolition at the time.
