More Glasgow Road photos from 1980. Previously unseen online, this is the building of Clydeview Shopping Centre, the upper units already built in the existing western side of the centre. The ASDA warehouse is well progressed and the steelwork of the corner premises still being built.
The other photo shows bollard over the redundant entrance to Craig Street which would later become the pedestrian precinct next to where the road crossing is now. This photo was taken from where the current Festive Event annual site is looking back up to Asda being constructed.
