Can you spare a small donation?

UPDATE: This target has now been met! Thanks.

Enjoying Blantyre Project? I’m on the ‘scrounge’. Can you please Donate a little to help with 2020 Running Costs?

As a non-profit charitable website providing a FREE ancestry, research and community history archive service here and on Facebook, I unfortunately have unavoidable annual costs each December of £434 that I now kindly seek help from readers with. In order to research accurately and provide a FREE ancestry service to all Blantyre people, it may come as a surprise, just how much Blantyre Project running costs are. (£235.00 WordPress domain and website business plan hosting giving YOU interactive free daily functionality here, £79 British Newspaper Archive to research stories and dates and Ancestry Premium Plan £119.99 to provide FREE ancestry to readers!)

I usually pay this each year by myself, something I’ve done since 2011, to ensure this site remains FREE for everybody who follows it. However, as with last year I’m trying something a little different.

Can you perhaps spare a little donation of a pound or two to help me get to the annual target?

You can choose any amount and pay safely by Paypal, credit or debit card to ‘Blantyre Telegraph’s’ Account which will directly fund Blantyre Project. I do not hold any card details.

I hope you continue to enjoy the website and the level of relentless, daily dedication given to Blantyre Project.

So far in the first hour alone, readers have very generously raised £283 towards the 2020 £434 target, helping me immensely! Already 65% of the way there!

DONATIONS from £1 can be made here:

Thank you everybody for your kind support.

  1. Paypal deals in most currencies. I don’t use it myself, but a cash donation already arranged for you Paul.

Paul – can I make a donation in US dollars using my American VISA credit card?

    1. Hi Michael – Yes, I think Paypal converts it. You should be able to donate from anywhere. Thank you so much.
