I don’t often post things so “modern”, but this photo of 1988 was worth sharing. If only to see former businesses like Capital, Lightbody’s , Coyles Opticians, Botterils and the Mehran Restaurant. Only Glen Travel stood the test of time here.
Even in the 80′ though, boarded up shops could still be seen. Who remembers the shops like this?
