Mind the Gap

Who remembers the former gap between buildings on High Blantyre main Street near Blakelys? These photos from 2000 show the old billboard that once sat so prominently on Main Street.

The gap was closed over in post Millennium years with the building of a brick 2 storey building (not very pretty I have to admit) which is now the Golden Sea and Spice Club Takeaways.
