Celebrating everything that’s great about this town, the popular Charity Oscars awards, now in their 3rd year aims to recognise notable organisations and incredible individuals who have accomplished something remarkable, in some cases throughout their lives, to the benefit of all our community.”

You’ll need to be fast! Like right now, fast! The glitzy, red carpet event with the promise of celeb recorded appearances and a few other surprises, is once again expected to sell out, perhaps even tonight! In fact, from the 170 tickets made available earlier, as of right now, there are only 18 left! Tickets were first made available to friends and family of nominees but are now open to the public. The event hopes to raise money for the Blantyre Summer Gala Weekend and the Beatson cancer charity.
Voting remains open throughout next month, closing on Friday 29th March. We’ll be showcasing the nominees here daily over the next few weeks.
Winners will be announced at the Blantyre Oscars Award Event on 27 April 2019.
