Great photos from May 1999 taken by Neil Gordon as the David Livingstone Memorial Bridge was pulled down, into the River Clyde. This bridge, thought to have been poorly built had only lasted half the time of the previous.
A third pedestrian bridge now crosses the River Clyde at the former Blantyre works area.
