Auchentibber History Event
You are invited to come along this Sunday 11th of November 2018, to High Blantyre’s Priestfield Hall to help commemorate those who lost their lives in World War 1.
A history talk by my good friend and colleague, local historian Gordon Cook, will explore Auchentibber’s fascinating history and is being held from 3.30pm immediately following the remembrance services.
It promises to be a fantastic event and will likely be well attended.
Hosts Blantyre Community Council have made available a hot drink and some home baking too!
As if Gordon’s informative and highly anticipated talk isn’t enough, I have been working on a wee surprise. Everybody attending will be given a FREE limited edition, high resolution book about Auchentibber written and compiled by Blantyre Project.
