School holidays got off to a GREAT start at High Blantyre Primary today, when the children of Primary 1 and 2 each received a goodie bag, packed full of sweets and small toys!
The treat was a gift from Blantyre Project worth £162, raised via sales of books at the recent Gala Weekend. Each child received a FREE goodie bag with whistles, toys, crayons, small games, puzzles, sweets, bubbles, bouncy balls and gliders as they left school for the final time this term.
Needless to say, they were delighted! Thanks to everybody who bought a book this month. I’m thrilled that as well as getting history out to you all, there are regular and ever growing donations to people of all ages, throughout Blantyre’s community.
As of end June 2018, the total now raised for 99 Blantyre good causes is an astonishing £19,063.90.
Thank you!!!
Love it Paul….lots of happy children.
