Mr Archibald McMillan was a Blantyre Police Sergeant who retired in 1967, following 30 years service with the Lanarkshire Constabulary.
He was guest of honour upon retirement in the Blantyre Recreation Police Hut where 40 colleagues celebrated his retirement with him.
