Pictured from the opposite side of the River Clyde at Blantyre Works, the camera in 1903 looks across to the very end of the Blantyre Mills. The large 5 storey brick built building is the former Powerloom Factory. You can just make out the whitewashed parts of the building that once was entirely covered in white paint (most likely filled with lead!)
On the far left, the demolition of the Gasworks has commenced, brick by brick.
