Mr George Park has a real talent for restoring and making old photos look amazing! Like this one, shared this evening with Blantyre Project.
Pictured in 1955, is Kirkton Park, High Blantyre, taken from a vantage point just over my own garden wall , looking eastwards, towards Broompark Road. The camera is near the slope leading from Park Crescent.
Pictured from left to right are Mrs May Park with her children Robert, Shirley and of course George himself on the right, all looking very dapper. How wonderful for a family to have such a lovely photo and its not gone unnoticed just how well kept, clean and tidy the park is with its tended flowerbeds.
