For one day only, Crossbasket is opening its doors between 10am and 6pm to let the general public see the amazing £9m transformation of the Castle, from its ruined stated back in 2011, to the glory and magnificence it basks in now.
I have the utmost pleasure of being a tour guide on the day, a service freely provided. Crossbasket is a building I’m most passionate about and I’m thrilled to have watched the renovation take shape over the years. I’ll be on hand throughout the day to take you over the building and estate and share some of the insights I learned whilst researching the building.
It’s your chance to see the splendour of the renovated bedrooms, lounge, new bar and library as well as be amongst the first people to witness the new grand ballroom.
Crossbasket opens as a five star wedding venue shortly and will also be an exclusive hotel and restaurant too, with food endorsed by none other than Albert Roux himself. If you’re there and see me, come and say hi.
