1920s Greenhall House. Horse called “The Nut”. Shared by June Hislop

June Hislop shared this photo which was taken at Greenhall House. A rare photo of the entrance of the building, pictured in the 1920s is her grandfather standing beside a horse named “The Nut”.

Previous Greenhall owner Ean Paul once told me, Mr Moore who owned Greenhall House previous to his family, was very fond of horses, believing motor cars to be simply a fad that could and would never replace a horse.
