Thank you to Blantyre resident, Katarzyna Grzegorczyk for sending in these photos of Blantyre Priory. Whilst out walking her dog, she stumbled upon the location, which is ever increasingly becoming difficult to get to. The photos are dated from early June 2015, and the ruins are fairly well covered in Summer growth. It was a reminder for myself to visit this location, something I’ve not done for some time.

The ruins are suffering further from trees growing out from them. I fear in a few decades nothing much at all will remain of the Priory building, Blantyre’s oldest building.
