1922 Mary and Jenny Danskin (PV)
A family photo next. In 1922, my grandmother Mary Danskin was pictured on the left, next to her sister Jenny.
The girls lived above the family shop, a drapers at the corner of Broompark Road and Stonefield Road. (the shop that later became Collins’ Newsagents. Mary died in 1997 after a long and happy life.
Mary’s children were Nancy, Margaret, John, Archie and Janet (my mother)
