1908 Duncan Generations original photo (PV)

You may have seen this picture before which is of my family, The Duncans, photographed in 1908. This old picture is treasured by me as one of the most fascinating photos I have as it features several generations of Duncans.

So, what a surprise it was to me on 2nd January when George Park of Arbroath contacted me with a version he had been restoring. This kindness is so appreciated and unexpected. The picture George is working on is being restored and this version is work in progress. Gone are the scratchmarks, the tears and blemishes. I offer George my sincere thanks and when complete, this photo will be put up in my historical gallery in my hallway at home.
