This photo is kindly donated by Elizabeth Cardoo (Nee Anderson) and features a Christmas Masonic party in High Blantyre during the early 1950’s. Elizabeth is pictured as a little girl aged 6 years or so. The children look happy and enjoying Santa’s company. However, regardless of the festive smiles and frolics, I have to admit on seeing this photo, I have to say, that is indeed one pretty scary looking Santa!
