Who remembers Willie Thomson’s Shop on Hunthill Road. Willie is pictured here (1960s?) outside the former shop. Willie was the son of Robert and lived for a long time up the stairs from the shop. He never married and approaching retirement when the shop was demolished, he eventually became the park-keeper for High Blantyre park.
