These photos are from Hogmanay 1933. Blantyre Vics are playing away at Glenesk Park, to Dundee Violets. Blantyre won the match 3-2, with one of the goals scored by Black, the striker pictured. Also photographed are the away Blantyre supporters, dressed up to protect against the cold Winter, complete with their mascots.

Pictured at Caldervale are local children (who lived at Finmeoot). The photo has seen a little damage, but the faces can still be zoomed in on.
