Seems like David Dale House will have a different use in the coming years. It’s been announced in a new investment strategy for South Lanarkshire Council that David Dale House (Housing & Tech offices) behind the sports centre would close to council staff in 2030.
Staff would have to leave the building at John Street upon its lease expiry in 2030 but jobs retained by the council, working in other council offices.
The move, proposed to save money, would free up David Dale House for another non council use, though there is nothing published to say what that would be.
