Chairman of the Strathclyde Scanner Campaign, Mr Frank Jamieson accepts a cheque for £1,800 – cash raised by the table at the previous year’s donkey derby.
A spokesman for the table said at the time: “We decided that the scanner campaign was very deserving of our biggest ever single donation as the medical equipment will be installed in Hairmyres Hospital and will directly benefit the people of Blantyre.”
