I think this lovely photo may have been taken in the late 1980s or 1990’s? It is Bardykes House, the residence of the Wilkie family. (I’m sure Sandy will be able to date it more accurately if reading this!) No fir tree in the turning circle at this time. Springtime by the looks of the trees and daffodils.
Is that a ‘Hollywood’ spotlight above the door?! A beautiful home, in a very distinctive ‘Greek Thomson’ architectural style.
Lovely to see a picture of Bardykes House, hard to imagen that the ‘Jackson Family’ lived there some time ago.
