The celebrations surrounding the 100th birthday of Blantyre Lodge Livingstone No. 599 continued on the first Friday night of March 1977 at the Whitehill Civic Centre.
These Lodge officials, members and guests came along to the 599 Centenary Dance. The previous week, the Lodge held a rededication service in the Masonic Hall followed by a celebration dinner in the Civic Centre.
A detailed history of the Lodge was written to coincide with the celebrations, though I’m not sure where that document is now. Meantime, these photos from 47 years ago were taken at the celebrations. Know anybody?
