Andrena Black has shared this photo of our family.
This is her dad Ronnie, with his parents Mary & Samuel Geddes (Andrena’s grandparents). They’re in the back garden of 79 Small Crescent, Blantyre. Andrena thinks this could be 1936, so the homes in the Crescent would only have been 10 years or so old, the photo pre WW2. More photos from Andrena tomorrow.

Hi, I would like to contact Andrena Black nee Geddes as I believe we are related. Andrena’s grandfather and me grandmother were siblinge.
Mary Ann (Polly} Bryden lived in Newmilns Ayrshire, I remember the Blantyre boys visiting us and our family traveling by bus to Blantyre, this would have been in the 1950’s
Polly & John Bryden had 3 sons, Bill, Tom & Stan.
