They were taken in The Hoolets bar area known as “THE COFFIN” which was behind the bar with two serving hatches. Long before decimalisation, many ”a tanner” was won and lost at the dominoes tables. Did anybody ever visit this area?
Consensus is this was the Scottish Cup won by Jim Conroy’s Aberdeen Boys Club.
The club no longer exists, but these pics kindly shared by Archie Simm are a great tribute to Jim and the lads who won.
