A couple of months ago, during the clearing out and renovations of the Hoolet’s Pub on Bardykes Road, John Carrigan found this old, damaged photo. Passing it over to me, it’s hoped that posting here we’ll be able to find out who this couple are and possibly where the photo was taken.
Some context. It was in the wall of the Hoolets and from the fashions and the bike, it appears to be from the 1950’s or 1960’s. I’d like to think given where it was found, there’s a Blantyre connection!
