Going back 43 years now to High Blantyre’s Main Street, this time looking eastwards towards Hamilton. The scene is near the lane at the top of Victoria Street near what was the Stones Hotel. Can you name the shops in the whitewashed former tenement? Today, a modern house is scheduled to be built on this land, currently sitting vacant.
