Another fantastic photo of Stonefield Public Park in a previous era. Shared here by Rob Gordon, the photo was taken by his neighbour Robert Craig from the back window of his Station Road home.
Looking over the park, the prominent feature is of course the former boating pond and the old mans rest building. Beyond on the horizon are homes and factories at John Street. It’s thought this photo is now over half a century old.
