I’m researching a story about “a white lady” ghost. Can anybody remember tales or comments about a “white lady” in Blantyre or indeed any other type of ghost!? Where about in Blantyre? When?

Was she the ghost at the Applebank pub! heard that there was one there, Was a little girl at that time heard and immediately fascinated. Now that was years ago!
My memory is sketchy, but two of my wee friends Wilma and Jean Haycock told me about the white lady that people saw. I was told by my grandmother also of the ghost of a white lady, but then she also spoke of a husband who rose from the grave and came knocking on his own home door one dark rainy night. We lived on Calder Street at that time in the fifties.
