With thanks to Claire Murray for sharing this great photo. This was 1962 on a school trip from St.Joseph’s to MacDuff with some people from Blantyre. They stayed in an empty school as it was during the summer holidays where they slept on camp beds and were taken around to see the sights on the back of an old lorry.

Do you recognise anybody? These young girls would all be around 70 years old by now. I’ve zoomed in as the photo was in great resolution.
